Kimberly Harding, President and Founder of Monarch Innovation Partners, presented her original research and conceptual platform, Project Orchid. Her topic, “Project Orchid – An Open Science-Open Source technology framework for sustainable global health innovation partnerships associated with Precision Medicine cohorts for infectious and chronic disease interrogation initiatives”, was presented at the venue. The workshop covered the following topics related to different nanomaterials, in particular carbon nanomaterials such as carbon nanotubes and graphene. Sessions also included the following: synthesis, processing and multiscale characterization for medical applications, bone regeneration, neuroscience cardiology, nanotoxicology and cancer.
